Masterclass: ONE NIGHT IN THE STUDIO with FLORIAN MEINDL (Download only)

I am a hobbyist and relatively new to techno, my background is playing bass guitar. As others have stated this isn't the most step by step tutorial of producing music but I still really enjoyed seeing Florian's process particularly regarding how he is using the modular and then bringing stems into the DAW to finish the track. Really helped me have a better idea of putting things together and actually finishing a track.

I'm a fan of Florian and watching his Studio streams also so this was a must for me and I love it! Really interesting stories and interesting how he creates a Techno track from scratch! Also the analog mastering was very interesting for me - but I have to say it's not a tutorial where every detail is explained it's more like a studio visit to him and he does his thing, explaining it in an understandable way and you watch and learn...

An interesting insight into Florian's workflow and great overview of producing a track yourself from start to finish. The level of skill and equipment used here is quite advanced but everything is explained well so the techniques should be useful for begineers too. I'll definetly watch this again to get some more tips.

Nice but nothing special. Very simple track. Lots of shortcuts. How about recording audio? Editing, what about latency? Too many very expensive gear in the mastering chain.
